Privacy Policy

LifeCycles is built around private emotional awareness. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it as a simple product for personal check-ins.

01

Who Operates LifeCycles

LifeCycles is operated by LifeCycles SpA, based in Chile. If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or about how your information is handled, you can contact us at legal@lifecycles.net.

02

What We Collect

We collect only the information we need to run LifeCycles as it exists today.

  • Account data, such as your email address.
  • Authentication-related data needed to let you sign in securely.
  • Mood check-ins and any optional note or related content you choose to add to those check-ins.
  • Basic technical data needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service, such as device, browser, IP, or error information.

03

How We Use Your Data

We use your information in a limited and practical way to operate the product.

  • Create and maintain user accounts.
  • Authenticate users and keep sessions working.
  • Provide the core product, including mood history, streaks, and emotional pattern views.
  • Protect the service, investigate misuse, and keep the app secure.
  • Respond to support, privacy, or legal inquiries when needed.
  • Improve the service in a limited and reasonable way.

04

Mood Data

Mood entries are provided by you. They are used to power the personal tracking features of LifeCycles, including your history, streaks, and pattern views.

We treat this information as private to your account unless you actively choose to share something. LifeCycles is not a medical, psychiatric, or emergency service, and your check-ins are not reviewed as clinical records.

05

How Data May Be Shared

LifeCycles does not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may share information with service providers that help us run the product, such as hosting, authentication, database, and technical infrastructure providers, but only to the extent needed to operate the service.

If you generate a share card or share something publicly, that sharing is initiated by you.

06

Cookies and Technical Tools

LifeCycles may use essential cookies or similar technical mechanisms for authentication, session management, security, and core app functionality.

We do not currently describe the product as using a broad advertising or aggressive marketing tracking setup.

07

Data Retention

We generally keep account and mood data while your account remains active, unless you delete that data or ask for deletion where applicable.

Some limited technical logs, backups, or operational records may be retained for a reasonable period for security, integrity, or legal reasons.

08

Your Rights

You can contact us at legal@lifecycles.net to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable law and reasonable technical limitations.

Because LifeCycles is still an early-stage product, some requests may require manual handling.

09

International Processing

LifeCycles may rely on cloud-based service providers, which means your information may be processed in countries outside your own jurisdiction depending on where those providers operate.

10

Children

LifeCycles is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly provide the service to them.

11

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to help protect personal information.

No system or transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

12

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will revise the effective date shown on this page.
