September 21-23, 2007 Rickman Conference Center Facilitators: Cynthia Brix, M.A., M.Div. and Royda Crose, Ph.D. Listen – your heart is calling Your heart is calling you to remember the lifelong bond that all mothers and daughters share. Your heart is calling you to rebirth the special love that is the deep within your soul. Your heart is calling you to resolve conflicts and revision a deeper, more intimate relationship with your mother or daughter. This is the time to gather with other women to celebrate and reclaim your unique mother-daughter connection. ReAwakening Heart Connections
Remembering and Revisioning this Sacred Relationship Through sharing circles, experiential exercises, poetry, music, and paired dialogues, adult daughters and their mothers will engage each other in new ways and celebrate the extraordinary relationship that is unlike any other in our lives. The Rickman Center This unique rustic lodge is nestled deep in the heart of 220 beautiful wooded acres on the edge of the Ozark mountains, just outside of Jefferson City, Missouri. Facilities include a large dining hall, conference center, 23 sleeping rooms, a cozy cottage, 10 cabins and much more. The quiet setting, natural environment, convenient location, and hospitality are what guests look forward to with each visit. Each mother/daughter pair will have a private room with twin beds and bath, where they can relax together during breaks and after the planned activities are over each day. Dr. Royda Crose, Ph.D. A licensed psychologist, gerontologist, and hypnotherapist, who specializes in women's issues and gender differences in aging, author of the book, "Why Women Live Longer Than Men...and What Men Can Learn From Them." Royda has a private practice in Columbia, Missouri, and conducts seminars and workshops nation-wide on wellness and aging. Cynthia Brix, M.A., M.Div. An interfaith minister integrates her training as a wellness specialist and gerontologist into her work as a spiritual director and facilitator. Cynthia's involvement in social justice, gender healing and anti-racism awareness continues to be fundamental to her lifework. Cynthia is co-author of the book "Divine Duality: The Power of Reconciliation Between Women and Men" to be published by Hohm Press, November 2007. ******** To register: Complete and mail the registration form and mail with workshop fee to Lifecycle Consultants. Confirmations will be mailed after September 10, 2007. Registration includes workshop fees and materials, 4 meals (breakfasts on Sat. and Sun, lunch and dinner on Sat.), lodging (each mother and daughter pair will have a private room with bath and twin beds.)
