The Ellen's Angels Foundation

MISSION STATEMENT
Ellen's Angels is dedicated to the support, education, and encouragement of groups who want to help terminally ill friends or family members live fully in the face of death. We believe that sharing the care deepens love, enriches relationships, and transforms dying into a celebration of life.

Ellen's Angels was organized by friends who assisted Ellen Kielty during the final two years of her life. By helping Ellen, we learned to live, love, and laugh together in spite of the illness and death of our friend. The Ellen's Angels Foundation now continues to serve in the same way, by providing information to others who want to form a care sharing group.

Members of the steering committee will develop informational and educational materials to help others form care groups and will be available for consultation either by telephone, e-mail, or in person to help other groups get started and keep functioning for as long as they are needed.

We are applying for non-profit, tax-exempt status.
